Our clients software Development team requires a full time Internal Systems Team Leader, to take overall responsibility for database production and delivery. As part of this role you will be required to introduce enhancements and efficiencies into the data production process to meet key business objectives.You'll be employed in a variety of roles, including:
Developing an in depth understanding of the companys internal maintenance systems and data production processes in order to support, develop and influence their strategic direction
Designing and implement enhancements to these systems to further improve their efficiency and meet specific business objectives
Ensuring the database product is produced and delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner
Effective management of a small team of database developers to implement database solutions
Database Systems in house are all SQL Server based and the role will involve the design and development of data structures and stored procedures, database administration tasks and definition of database security and recovery strategies.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years experience with Microsoft SQL Server to an advanced level, including design, development and administration.
Previous experience of a team leader or equivalent position, along with knowledge of other RDBMS technologies such as Oracle is an advantage.
